This Wednesday, DIT Kalamazoo will be hosting a Kalamazoo Free School workshop focused on live sound and acoustics.  The workshop is intended to share skills in mixing, equalizing, and leveling on the PA, but will also touch on sound-proofing and other aspects of live audio.

Local sound/recording engineer Mark Larmee will be facilitating the workshop and can be contacted at marklar.recordings@gmail.com with any questions, contributions, or follow-up.  The event will take place at 926 Davis St in Kalamazoo, begins at 8:30pm, and is (of course) free and open to the public.  You can connect with the Facebook event here.
