7/8 – The Ladybug Transistor, The Philly Crawlers, Deep Waters @ The Strutt

Dear fans of Rock ‘N Roll music,

On the Eighth, (that’s tomorrow) at The Strutt (that’s here) The Ladybug Transistor will be playing what Wikipedia describes as “Indie Pop”, which, somehow, indirectly, is a variation on the age-old tradition of Rock ‘N Roll. Assuming that you are a member of the teeming masses that this letter was addressed to, this should excite you.

But wait! There’s more!

The Ladybug Transistor is/was a member of the Elephant 6 collective (that was just in town on their Holiday Surprise Tour). This means that not only will it be indie pop, it will be well done indie pop. Having gone to the Elephant 6 show, and personally enjoying the Ladybug Transistor, I would strongly suggest going to this show. Still concerned? Don’t be! They sound like this:

But wait! There’s more!

Opening for TLBT (The Ladybug Transistor) will be local staple The Philly Crawlers. TPC (The Philly Crawlers) are also an indie pop band. That’s twice as much indie pop in one night! Not convinced? HERE’S ANOTHER VIDEO:

BUT WAIT! THERE’S EVEN MORE!

Deep Waters is also playing, but they’re too cool for the internet. Jeremy Ruggles, Jakab Selner, and David Spalveri-Kruse make it up, and I don’t knew what it sounds like, but if you know those cats you’d know that it was reason to be excited. And with the bill they’re playing on, well, it’s just all a deal you can’t pass up.

Just $10
